Online Masterclass - Substrate Moisture

Join us as we hear from BDQ Platinum Partner, Polyflor, about effects of moisture and best practice substrate preparation.

Presentation Overview

“Floorcoverings are the second biggest risk on any commercial project”, this is a big statement to make. When dealing with potential issues after construction, most major issues can be isolated, electrical, plumbing, etc. So outside of structural issues, the floorcoverings could be deemed the second biggest risk. If a buildings floorcovering fails, the building needs to be shut down to rectify, causing extensive and costly delays to daily operations. Moisture in the substrate, and high relative humidity both present as costly issues, which can prevented during the planning and early construction stages. Polyflor will be presenting, what can go wrong across a wide range of floorcoverings when moisture is present, and the best practice for substrate preparation.
